Milo

Milo is my first dog, he is a long haired dachshund and he is years 10 old. His name means Apple in Greek and since he is a red dachshund we thought it would be fitting. I bought him at a pet store before I knew that most of them support puppy mills and getting a dog from a rescue site is a way better place to get a puppy.

Milo is a nice dog and he just wants to be your friend (and eat of course) I have trained him to come, sit, roll over and a few other tricks although he always seems to know when you don’t have a treat to share. He is happy just to follow me around the house and never gets in trouble.

Currently he is living at my parents house because when I moved out they couldn’t stand the thought of being without him. My dad takes him for walks around the block every day and taxi’s him over to my house in Naperville every other weekend so he gets a chance to play with the rest of the gang,  Milo is a very vocal dog and when you tell him “I love you” he responds with a sound that almost sounds the same.
